Long pane 3mm toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls-branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

Installation Services
with Greenhouse Installation
We can arrange to have your Halls Greenhouse, plus any other Halls accessories you purchase together.
Available to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England. But excludes Wales, Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the delivery of your greenhouse.
Note: A base plinth MUST be purchased above for installation services to be valid. The installers will not complete the installation without a matching base plinth. Please find our Halls Installation Terms and Preparation Checklist here.

Delivery Information
Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.
Delivery charges can be found under the “Delivery Services” options above. Unfortunately, delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a higher delivery charge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.
For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Quick delivery and very helpful delivery service. Unlike some other reviewers I built this greenhouse myself. For those thinking of doing this, the quality of the components and the instructions are very good. It took me 2.5 days, including the base, to construct and I am really pleased with the finished greenhouse and look forward to it providing many years of use.

Excellent product and great service!
This is the second Halls 8x6 supreme greehouse we have built (the first is still going strong) and it is superb! The quality of manufacture and finish for the price put other brands in the shade. We did have a damaged component (down to delivery not manufacture) and the after-sales support team arranged a replacement in next to no time so very happy purchaser and happily give this 10/10 - Thank you!

5 star greenhouse and service
So looooove my new greenhouse - stylish design as well as practical. Has ‘made’ our garden. Advise from Halls Garden Centre prior to me choosing a greenhouse and to questions I had along the way through the delivery and self fitting process was efficient and knowledgable. One small problem was that a wrong size piece of glass was delivered (probably because I had an additional opening window) but was efficiently and effectively corrected due to good customer service from Dan at Halls. All in all I love it soooo much and am busy learning and growing. Thank you

Excellent service from order to completion.
Excellent service - delivery as promised. Delighted with the greenhouse - automatic windows are great. Staging is perfect and as with the greenhouse itself extremely robust. Installed by one of your contract agents who telephoned next day to arrange date. Three days later he arrived in the morning - by late afternoon we had the first of our tomato plants in! He was very polite, friendly and excellent worker. Product and installer very highly recommended. Very happy customer!

Overall, very pleased with my purchase
Now that my greenhouse has been installed I'm very happy with it. After I made my order I thought that the paperwork I received was a little unfriendly (lot's of "you must check this and you must do that" and "the base of the greenhouse must have 2 feet of space all the way it" (mine didn't and it was no problem). I also e mailed the company to request a date for installation and did not get a "thank you for your request, rest assured we will contact you shortly" etc. So, for someone that had just spent £1,300 I felt like I was doing them a favour more than the other way round. Having said that, everything arrived on time and the installation guys were great. Happy now that is up and running.

GardenSite works very closely with Halls to try and make the delivery and installation a seamless process but it .can be a potential minefield, particularly where space is concerned, and it is only fair that it is made clear on the paper work. And yes, maybe the phrasing could be little more customer focused. Having said that I am pleased you are happy with the end product and trust it will give you years of service going forwards. What type of window will give the best ventilation?
We Replied:Dear Sandra Thank you for your question. This greenhouse comes with one opening roof vent, the options to improve ventilation are either adding additional roof vents or adding a side louvre window. For a greenhouse of this size, two opening roof vents or one opening roof vent and one louvre window will offer sufficient ventilation. The most popular option is the additional roof vent. The other additional accessories worth considering to aid ventilation are the automatic vent openers or the automatic louvre window openers, these accessories will automatically open the roof vent or louvre window once the temperature reaches a set temperature, and close the vent/window once the temperature falls below the set temperature. What clearance do you need around the base of the greenhouse?
We Replied:Dear Dennis Thank you for your question. If you mean for installation, then you will need 3ft around the base in order to give yourself enough room to install the greenhouse. If you mean the base size, then it's recommended for the base to be slightly larger, around 2ins bigger on each side to allow for successful anchoring of the greenhouse using bolts without the bolts being too close to the edge of your floor.
