Description
The Forest Harwood 10x6 log cabin is a multi-functional and very practical structure that can have many uses, no doubt enhancing your garden with an extra function room for hobbies, crafts, a workshop or to turn into a tranquil garden retreat.
High quality smooth planed interlocking logs that are 28mm thick create a highly attractive garden building, these are smooth-planed and interlocked to form a highly attractive garden building. The roof is tongue & grooved, covered in roof felt, so again not only good looking but also quite sturdy and fit for purpose. Three-quarter length glass pane double doors allow lots of light into the cabin, creating a very pleasant environment whether you use the cabin for rest, work or play.
As standard on the 10ft wide harwood log cabin you'll find a 19mm thick floor to create a really sturdy internal area, premium quality roof felt and a mortice rim lock on the easy access double door entry.

Wood Preservation
We advise that as the timber supplied for this log cabin is untreated, a wood preservative, stain, or paint is used on the product as soon as possible to increase its durability and waterproofing abilities. Ideally, at least the floor and bearers should be treated with an outdoor wood preservative before installation, as access may be restricted once fully installed.

If you don't have the time or requisite DIY skills, a home assembly service is available for this log cabin. This nationwide service is conducted by our skilled Forest installation teams at an agreed time that is convenient for you.
Please note that this service is assembly only. It does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
Installation Time Frame: The installation will not happen on the day of delivery, a separate date will be arranged prior to the successful delivery of the log cabin.
Home delivery and assembly is excluded in the following postcodes BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW PA, PH, PO, TR and ZE.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 4 - 6 weeks (Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed with 2 - 4 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Please note that this service is assembly only. It does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
Installation/assembly is excluded in the following postcodes BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW PA, PH, PO, TR, ZE, and any other offshore islands, highlands, or countries.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

Delivered as promised. All there and easy to build …… no big panels to struggle with. One man build over 4 days of showers, downpours, dry and windy ….. built, insulated, power connected …… one artist studio completed!

FOREST HARWOOD LOG CABIN
It took me a long time searching for the best value and quality summerhouse/log cabin. I finally decided to go for the Forest Harwood Log Cabin and like most things when you only see the picture, it is necessary to read all the information so you know what you are getting. I was not disappointed. I ordered it and asked for the date I would like it deilvered. This delivery date was adhered to and a time given and the driver kept me up to date as he was travelling up with it. It comes in 2 very well packed crates. The Cabin itself is amazing, I can think of no other words to describe it and I give it 11/10 [if that is possible]. The only downside and this is nothing to do with the Cabin, but it is the instructions, or what instructions!. They cover a variety of the Cabins and you are left wondering what some of the pieces are for. We basically built it with only a brief reference to them. What is really needed is a construction video. Having said that the after sales service was excellent. The roofing felt was not sufficient to cover the roof and they were happy for me to purchase the extra from B
