Description
A single door is perfectly adequate for many sheds but double doors make entry so much easier especially when you have large items. That's why this Overlap 7ft x 5ft Shed from Forest has become a popular choice over the years.
There's a good chance that the contents will also be valuable, so it's good to know that security is taken seriously. Door hinges are hidden, there's a hasp & staple latch and double 'Z' bracing for strength.
The polycarbonate glazing is unbreakable and will not suffer yellowing or brittleness as it ages. With the excellent light transmission and good headroom, moving about inside the shed is easy.
Flooring is included as standard, it is a robust pressure-treated board, while overhead the roof is constructed from sheet material and then covered with black sand felt to ensure that it is weatherproof.
Not only supremely practical, but the shed also has an attractive appearance. This is due to the mixed softwood overlap cladding that has also been pressure treated. Even though treatment with preservatives is not required, the FSC timber is guaranteed against rot and decay for fifteen years.

If you have a concrete, slabbed or patio area prepared already, and wish to not heighten your new Forest structure off the ground, then it can be installed straight on top of your already prepared area, without the need for a base frame.

We offer fast and free delivery within mainland UK on our Forest sheds.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 5 working days for the majority of mainland UK locations (exclusions apply - see below for details). Delivery times may be extended during busy times of the year depending on the availability of delivery vehicles.
For the majority of mainland UK locations, Forest products are delivered to your home directly by the manufacturer. In this instance you will receive a message by phone or email with details to manually book in a chosen delivery date.
For limited areas of south east England, limited areas of the south west England, and Scotland, Forest products are delivered by a third party carrier. In this instance, the carrier will contact you directly to book a delivery date once your order is ready at their delivery centre.
- Deliveries to the below postcode areas can take up to 7 working days extra, on top of the advertised lead-time:

Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed within 1 - 2 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Unfortunately, installation is not available to the following postcodes: BT1-BT99, GY1-GY9, HS1-HS9, IM1-IM9, IV41-IV56, JE1-JE5, KA27-KA28, KW15-KW17, PO30-PO41, PO49, TR21-TR25.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

Excellent Garden Shed
Excellent garden shed, especially as a very good price. Looks great in the garden, mine is painted sage green. It took 2 hours for two people to put together easily. I highly recommend this shed perfect for garden items and storing the lawnmower which is easy to get in and out with the double doors. Delivery was within days and with a specified two hours delivery slot. Overall a great purchase.

Really good shed
Bought it with hesitation. My husband was able to errect the shed within 3 hours that included a taking a break for fresh baked cakes and cuppa. It looks really nice in the garden.

Nice looking shed - not the best fit
Nice looking shed now it's up. Took us 6 hours to build. Instructions were basic and many parts didn't fit properly, so had to dismantle and try again. Now it is up, it looks lovely though. The delivery man said he was not legally allowed in our house, so did not help us at all, which was a shame.

You get what you pay for as already stated..but for the price is ok
You get what you pay for as already stated. warped wood, poor quality nails and screws and very basic instructions. I had to dismantle the door and re nail the wood slats just to make align the centre. It's never going to win the best shed in the world...but for the price is ok... if you want better, pay more and dont buy this shed!

What more do you want?
This shed probably won't win many prizes but what you see is what you get, a timber shed that's large enough for my bike and a lot of clutter that 'might come in handy some day'. everything fits together perfectly well if you follow the instructions and the double doors are a bonus for this size of shed.

I'm very pleased with my new shed. A competent DIY friend helped me with the assembly, took around 4-5 hours. All the relevant panels, parts, screws, latches etc were present. The shed looks great and would definitely recommend.

With regards to a window I notice that the nailed beading is positioned on the exterior side of the shed. This, in my opinion, presents a security risk as the beading can be easily removed as well as the window pane thus allowing unwanted access via the opening. A better solution would be to have the beading on the interior side!!!!! Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.

The beading has been secured on the outside of our Forest sheds for many years, and we’ve not come across any concerns or issues that arise from this. I can understand your concerns but due to the window design, it’s been determined that it fits better on the outside.
