Description
Impressive in size and build quality, the Overlap 10ft x 6ft Shed is a fabulous choice for gardeners. With room inside for much paraphernalia and essential items, this is a shed that offers so much and importantly delivers.
All the softwood cladding is pressure treated, so you can expect it to resist any rot or decay for many years, the guarantee states fifteen. This is a flexible square cut wood from a sustainable source that blends beautifully with the background and is very weatherproof.
This quality is shared by the roof that is constructed with sheet material and protected by black sand felt. So you can rely on the interior, that has tough pressure treated board flooring, to be a dry and welcoming space.
The two windows certainly let in lots of light, they are glazed with excellent polycarbonate that doesn't break, yellow or become brittle, and is fitted with security screws.
Access is on the longer side, which will prove preferable for many people. The door, that can hang from hidden hinges on either side, has been braced to increase strength and is secured with a hasp & staple latch.

If you have a concrete, slabbed or patio area prepared already, and wish to not heighten your new Forest structure off the ground, then it can be installed straight on top of your already prepared area, without the need for a base frame.

We offer fast and free delivery within mainland UK on our Forest sheds.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 5 working days for the majority of mainland UK locations (exclusions apply - see below for details). Delivery times may be extended during busy times of the year depending on the availability of delivery vehicles.
For the majority of mainland UK locations, Forest products are delivered to your home directly by the manufacturer. In this instance you will receive a message by phone or email with details to manually book in a chosen delivery date.
For limited areas of south east England, limited areas of the south west England, and Scotland, Forest products are delivered by a third party carrier. In this instance, the carrier will contact you directly to book a delivery date once your order is ready at their delivery centre.
- Deliveries to the below postcode areas can take up to 7 working days extra, on top of the advertised lead-time:

Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed within 1 - 2 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Unfortunately, installation is not available to the following postcodes: BT1-BT99, GY1-GY9, HS1-HS9, IM1-IM9, IV41-IV56, JE1-JE5, KA27-KA28, KW15-KW17, PO30-PO41, PO49, TR21-TR25.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

Decent shed, easy to assemble.
Shed arrived exactly as expected. Friendly helpful delivery guys. Took 2 men, a day & half to assemble, as roof wouldn't align and they ran out of light on first day. A decent quality shed, not fantastic, but then didn't expect that for the price we paid, only negative is plastic windows are a bit cheap & nasty. Otherwise we're more than happy with shed, suits our needs perfectly. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Good for the price
There was a delay in the delivery of the shed due to an admin error (the order wasn't initially processed properly) but the delivery guys were very helpful. Quality is OK. Solid floor, ok walls and door, although additional bolts required to stop the door flapping in the wind. Roof felt a little flimsy, so stronger roof support bar recommended. Value for money is actually very good. Couldn't find a similar shed (size, pressure treated, solid floor) for similar price.

Poor Quality Spend The Extra On Something Stronger.
Delivery was not as quick as advertised on the website but when it came the delivery people where helpful and friendly. I was very disappointed with this shed as it had lots of warps, pretty big gaps and lots of small holes all around it as well as knots falling out. Do not think this will be standing in 15 years despite having a 15 year rot guarantee. The roof beam was bent and looks like it would give way at any time. Its worth to spend a little extra and get a good quality shed. Trying to arrange partial refund or full refund on this shed at the time of writing this as pretty unhappy. Not worth the £399 it was on sale for.

This shed appears to have batons on the base. Is this suitable for placing directly on the ground - prepared slabs etc or does it need an additional base?
We Replied:Dear Mark Thank you for your question. The shed does come complete with bearers which helps ventilation below the shed. We would recommend placing this shed onto a flat hard surface, preferably concrete or slabs. We wouldn't recommend placing directly onto the ground as this will result in the wood deteriorating over time and could lead to the shed sinking into the ground.
