Staverden Peacock on an Urn Statue

This majestic sculptural piece from Design Toscano represents one of the white peacocks that have been kept at Staverden Castle in the Netherlands since the year 1400. 

Their purpose was originally to provide feathers to decorate the Duke of Gueire's helmet and they are now presented annually to the Commissioner of the Queen in Gelderland.

Perched on top of a gloriously arched urn, our Design Toscano exclusive peacock is proud and statuesque, had cast in quality designer resin with a UV resistant antique stone finish.

Statue Maintenance
Your new statue requires very little maintenance and is designed to be placed outdoors for the majority of the year.
However, to extend the durability and lifespan, we recommend taking simple precautions during the harsher winter months to avoid frost damage and excessive weathering.
We advise you to cover or move your statue indoors or to a shed or storage box during the colder months of the year.
