"Firstly, let me say that I love squirrels...but they never gave the small birds in my garden a chance! Virtually as soon as the feeder was hung, the food was gone and with it the silhouette of a bushy grey tail in the distance! I was determined to do something about it and so The Nuttery was born. Over a decade later, Nuttery squirrel proof bird feeders are used throughout the world - three distinctly different ranges covering the entire spectrum of bird feeding. Our company has come a long way since making its very first prototype in my garden shed! However, our philosophy remains and always will be the same: superior quality, innovation and design without compromise"

 1. What food should I use? 2. Can I put peanuts in my Nuttery squirrel proof seed feeder? 3. Should I choose a nut, seed or suet squirell Nuttery feeder? Nuts, seeds and suet all provide an excellent source of nutrition and energy and will delight wild birds. However, like humans, birds appreciate variety so there is no reason you shouldn't offer all three. 4. Where should I put my Nutery feeder? The simple answer is wherever you can see it. Our Nuttery squirel proof feeders are designed to allow access from any angle. However, it is advisable to find an area where predators such as cats cannot come into contact with the feeder. 5. When should I feed? Wild birds benefit from a helping hand throughout the winter months and will also thank you for assistance during spring and summer, when the breeding season and migration cause intense activity. All Nuttery squirrel proof feeders are designed for all year round feeding. 6. Who will visit my feeder? Providing your feeder is stocked with fresh food, you should enjoy watching a variety of birds including finches, tits, nuthatches, sparrows and many more. 7. How do I stop seed in my feeder getting clogged? Occasionally the seed can block the feeder when it gets damp. You can help to avoid this by adding some grains of rice to your seed mix while filling. This will help absorb the moisture. FREE UK DELIVERY on orders £30.00 or more. David Hall is your direct |
