Great value
Not too difficult to assemble. A well made, sturdy frame with good quality wood. Much better value when taking cost verses quality into consideration. Looks good too. Small enough for limited space but still provides a fair amount of space for propagating a range of seeds & seedlings. Lid lifts easily and can be left fully open or half way open ( tighten wing nut screw) to provide more air or for those warmer days. Saw a smaller, flimsily built ( soft wood) cold frame in garden centre at higher cost. This is much better value.

Cold frame
As this was the only cold frame we could find to fit the small space available, and that this product was made from hardwood, we thought it would be ideal. It's just been erected due to our kitchen extension being finished and it looks the part. Only time will tell if adverse weather will affect it badly; the last cold frame we bought was softwood so that was a BIG mistake!
