Buy Halls replacement acrylic panels that create the 'curved glass' appearance that is so appealing on the Halls greenhouses and lean-tos that they are featured on. The replacement panels, which are on sale here, are scratch-resistant high-grade acrylic as supplied in the original kit.
The Halls Greenhouse range has stood the test of time with its combination of classic good lucks combined with practicality and value for money.
There are not many parts that will need replacing but the acrylic panels will probably need to be replaced every 10-12 years to maintain the greenhouse's pristine good looks.
Make sure you measure carefully before ordering as some sizes are quite similar. We currently offer 4 sizes which can be purchased as a pack of 4, a pack of 6 or even a pack of 8.
How to Fit Replacement Acrylic Panels
Fitting them is easy but you may need a second person to hold them in place as the new panels are springy. Remove any exterior plastic film that may be on your replacement panels.Curve the new panel around the curved aluminium and slot into the retaining bars that hold it in place on the top and bottom. Secure with W shaped Spring Clips either side to secure the sides against the aluminium framing.Note: to keep packaging costs down we only supply these panels in packs of FOUR or more.
Note: Both GardenSite and its main suppliers have been very conscious of profiteering opportunities under Covid-19 and we have seen, thankfully, little or no examples of this in our industry. Having said that the price of acrylic, for obvious reasons, increased dramatically. We have also seen increases in courier charges. Despite relaxing our margins we have had to increase prices on this page from early September 2020. Since then the cost of Living Crisis has also impacted meaning we have have not been able to reduce our prices as at Spring 2023. Please accept our apologies but it is genuinely out of our control.
