Description
The Arcadia 5000 Carport from Palram Canopia offers a simple do it yourself solution to having an aesthetically pleasing yet practical solution to provide shelter for a car or other features such as a seating area or hot tub.
Designed to be as easy as possible to assemble at home, no special tools or foundations are required. Installing the roof is made easy by a sliding panel system, there's integral guttering and step-by-step instructions are supplied.
To aid the stability of the overall structure, a floor anchoring kit is included which lets you bolt the feet into solid ground such as a paved driveway or patio.
Powder coated aluminium and galvanized steel provide a sturdy and durable construction that's corrosion rust resistant, and the roof glazing is crafted from grey tinted, opaque polycarbonate, a 'virtually unbreakable' material that's made to endure extreme weather conditions and repels harmful UV rays.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Very Well Engineered Car Port
This is a really substantial and well finished car port. The uprights and cross braces are very solid and stable. All bolts and nuts are large and of good quality. The pre-drilled holes and slots are accurate and allow for a degree of movement where you might need it. It is surprisingly easy and quick to construct too. Gutters are provided with down spouts so you can run the water off wherever you want to. I have used a black flexible ribbed pipe cable tied to an upright. Ordering was easy and packaging was good. The only negative is it looks and feels a little industrial which isn't a problem in the setting that I have but might be an issue for others.

I have a suitable level concrete base, I note from the PDF instruction diagrams that the legs appear to have capped bolts for fixing. Would rawlbolts into the concrete be suitable?
