Description
The Lifetime 8x7 Garden Shed is a unique plastic (HDPE) and metal structure garden storethat adds striking lines with integral strength. Plus it is easy to install on it's own base. Lots of internal height, tall double doors and 7ft depth make this the shed you always promised yourself. As the 8ft is in the width of the shed you get lots of useable space that is easy to access via the double doors. Complete with ventilation units.
Manufactured from high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE), this is a long lasting and low maintenance material that you won’t need to paint and it won’t rust. It is also UV protected and resists fading and cracking.
The steeply pitched roof allows for rapid drainage of rain or melting snow, so you won’t have to worry about any water lying on top on the shed. The flooring is a 19mm thick polyethylene plastic, not only is this slip resistant and highly durable but it's also oil, solvent and stain resistant.
The double doors are complete with interior deadbolts, internal spring latch and an exterior padlock loop, so although offering terrific accessibility, the shed is both weatherproof and secure.

The shed must be built on a flat surface, for example, a patio, decking, slabbed or concrete area, in each corner of your flooring will be a slight indentation on the upper surface of the floor, this is designed so that you can drill through it to secure it to the foundation. Assembly will take 2 adults approximately 6 hours to set up.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 10 - 15 working days (2 - 3 weeks) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Service
Our installation service is applicable to Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland including Glasgow and Edinburgh, but not above.
Products ordered with an installation service will first be delivered to your delivery address within the estimated timeframe stated above. Once delivery has been confirmed, the installation team shall then arrange to attend to your property in order to install the structure for you.
The current lead time for installation, following successful delivery is within 20 working days.
Note that this will lead to the product needing to be temporarily stored at your property after it has been delivered and checked over until the date the installation occurs. We recommend the product to be stored in a safe and dry place such as in a garage, shed, or similar during this interlude period.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Very pleasing Shed
An excellent garden shed that looks like it will last a lot longer than either a wooden or a metal one, with minimal maintenance too. It also looks a lot nicer than the drab green rusty metal shed that it replaced. I managed to put it together by myself over two days, taking a total of of about 15 hours. It really does take more than one person to put together but can be done by one with a little ingenuity. I found it especially difficult when having to install a split pin (they all them cotter pins) into a bushing in the bottom of each door through into a hole in the hinge tube. A thin bladed electricians screwdriver helped to get them aligned, prior to fitment of the pins, after the doors were loosely secured into place by fitting the entry gable. Also, a drop of washing up liquid helped when snapping together the tabs on the corner panels into the flooring.

Best choice
This is a nice little shed, well made and useful for lots of small garden stuff. It's light inside so you can see what you're doing and looks as though it will last for much longer than a wooden one. I'm sure I've made a good choice to keep everything safe from any winter bad weather.
