Rock with Opening Water Sculpture

There used to be a TV programme called ' Through The Keyhole' and this distinctively shaped water sculpture from Stone & water resembles a keyhole shape drilled through a hunk of substantial granite. 

Although not decorated in a traditional sense, the roughly fashioned stone has its own ornate attributes that augment its appearance. There are two openings where water bubbles out. One outlet allows light to play against the sides of the opening, the other is in the top where water enters a reservoir and then flows over the stone.

A further delight of the Rock with Opening water sculpture is that in addition to a very attractive sculpture,  the fresh water supply, that goes through a filter into the reservoir, will attract a variety of birds wanting refreshment.

Material

All water sculptures are hand carved in solid granite that, unlike concrete, sandstone and inferior materials, will not deteriorate due to adverse weather conditions. Granite is heavy and the large version of this feature weighs up to 250kg so we urge extreme caution when moving.

Further, granite is a natural rock formation and as such differing strata can cause veins in the rock. These natural layer features may be present in any section and are beyond our control.

Accessories

Excludes reservoir, pump and light that are all sold separately. It is important to have the right size, to limit water loss (we recommend the 100cm reservoir, this will suit most of our water features). It is equally important to have a pump powerful enough for the height and number of outlets of the feature. The water flow can be adjusted on all our pumps.
