Blagdon Mayfly 150 Preformed Pond

The perfect choice for new pond-keepers or those with small to medium-sized gardens or restricted space, the Mayfly 150 comes in at 110cm in length and 73cm wide with a capacity of 150 litres. Predominately for use as a fish pond, this model can also be used as a decorative water feature.

A fantastic feature of this model is the marginal shelves that are built into the structure to facilitate varying planting depths, especially species that prefer shallow water. Wildlife will also benefit from these shelves, as they'll soon figure out how to use them to climb up and down when they want to get in and out of the water respectively. The deeper areas are deep enough to cover winter fish.

Installation is very easy. Simply start by digging a hole, place the pond inside and begin to backfill with sand or sifted soil as you gradually add water, making sure that the pond remains completely level at all stages of the installation process.

Made from tough HDPE plastic, this preformed pond is designed to stand the test of time. If installed and maintained appropriately, it should last you a lifetime and provide you with many years of aquatic enjoyment.
