Description
Perfect for new pond-keepers, the Blagdon Dragonfly 150 Preformed Pond has a humble capacity of 150 litres, making it ideal for use as a fish pond or decorative water feature in small to medium-sized gardens or outdoor areas with restricted space.
Compact in size but clever in design, this preformed plastic pond has been made to be as user-friendly as possible which makes it an ideal starter pond for novices. It comes with spacious marginal shelves that are moulded into the structure and will accommodate most planting basket shapes. This allows for varying planting depths which means you can plant species that prefer both deeper and shallower water. What's more, any visiting wildlife will be grateful for the shelves, as they'll use them as stepping stones to get themselves in and out of the pond with ease.
The installation process is very quick and easy - all you have to do is dig a hole in the ground, place the pond inside and then backfill with soft sand or sifted soil as you slowly add water. It's essential to ensure that the pond remains 100% level at all times during the set-up process.
Constructed from tough HDPE plastic, this preformed plastic pond is designed to stand the test of time. If installed and maintained appropriately, it will remain a thriving aquatic habitat for many years.
This model is the smallest in Blagdon's 'Dragonfly' collection which is also available in the following sizes: 250, 500, 750 and 1000.
