RepOase Filtoclear Ballast Assemblylacement Oase Filtoclear UVC Ballast Assembly to suit all Filtoclear Pond Filters from the 3000 all the way up to the 15000 models.

This product is ideal to replace your existing ballast if this is what has become faulty without the expense of buying a complete new unit.
This unit is able to take a 9 watt or 11 watt lamp and your quartz will fit back over the lamp with ease.

Complete with electrical cable, all you will need to do is put your lamp in, put the quartz over the top, fit this part into your existing Filtoclear Filter and then wire it up.

Safety Switch

This will not light up unless the whole unit is fitted together don't let it catch you out i called gardensite to complain only to be told there is a safety switch on the side meaning the lamp will not illuminate outside of the main filter body.

I think my Filtoclear6000 Ballast Unit has failed. Is there anyway of testing it? Can I check the voltage on the terminals? What should it be?

With the new ballast assembly, does the small plastic screw receiver (receiving the two top screws on a 11000 model) come with it as well. In reality, all I want is that plastic receiver, could it be bought separately?

I have removed the complete unit from the top of the main filter and separated the electrical part from its rectangular plastic cover only to find it is moist inside, which could explain why my lamps keep failing. Problem is I don't know how the moisture is getting in. Do you have any other images of this item so that I can see if it is what I need?

I am just about to order a new ballast for my 15 year old Oase Filto 6000 and wonder if I can use my existing cable which travels under concrete paths and through walls? Does the ballast come apart (if so how) so I can just re-wire my existing cable?

I have replaced my uvc lamp bulb and it failed immediately, as soon as i placed it in the ballast. It also tripped the electric. Do i need to replace the ballast (part 14360) or could the fault lie with the seal of the lamp connection?
