I have an Oase pond vac which will not switch on. When I checked the electrics the current stops at a unit inside so no power is getting to the motor, This unit has intertechno type cmr-1000 1000watt/5amps written on top, is this a relay of some sort and where can I get a spare?
We Replied:Dear Richard Thank you for your question. Some of these pond vacs were operated by a remote control and that might be the problem. However these vacuums have now been discontinued and, as we don't operate offer a maintenance/repair service, it would be best to contact the manufacturer. Dependent on which vac it is there were remote controls available for some but they have been discontinued with the vacuums.
