Description
The Oase BioPress 4000 Set will clear ponds up to 4,000 litres (880 gallons) in volume and comes complete as a pressure filter, solids handling pump, pipe and clips.
With your BioPress 4000 kit you get a BioPress 4000 pressurised filter which can be situated above or below the water surface level making it easy to hide, also included is a cleaning handle which means no dirty hands when cleaning your filter.
A 1500 litre per hour solids handling pump and 4.5 metres of 20mm hose and clips are all included with your BioPress 4000 set, this means you can set it up right away.
The built in inspection glass located on the top of the filter allows you to check your UV lamp is working.

Needs a better pump
This is a decent enough set but I find the pump is not sufficient for a decent current or return flow. Unless your pond doesn't have any depth it struggles with the vertical aspect from pump location to return. Went with this as the specs were far more than needed for my small pond but if buying again would go for a bigger one. By the time I had realised it was too late otherwise I'd have returned it

Great little kit
I only have a small pond so I didn't want anything too big and bulky spoiling the garden. I spoke with one of the guys on the phone and they pointed me in the direct of this kit. I have to say it's wonderful.

Does the Oase Biopress 4000 set have sufficient pressure for a fountain or spout to return the water to the pond?
We Replied:Dear Glenn Thank you for your question. The pump in this kit will not be able to run a fountain as it draws in larger debris and this will block a fountain head. It will be able to supply enough to return the water to the pond via a small water fall or spouting from the end of hose.
