Description
With a tremendously impressive size, the Norlog 600 gallon koi pond is ideal for fish keepers who want a raised pond, with the required depth for keeping koi.
Although large in stature, the pond can be quickly assembled with the wooden log-styled slats slotting into place. Three seats are then added around the edge, which offer a great place to sit and unwind, watching the life within your new pool go about their business.
With minimal digging involved to make it suitable for koi, this Norlog 600 gallon pool simply needs a small area of ground dug out for the sump (the bottom part of the included liner), giving koi, or other similar larger fish the depth of water that they require to have a happy home. The attractive timber that makes this pool such a handsome garden feature is sourced from well-managed European forests, pressure treatment means that it is rot resistant and a 10-year guarantee is offered.
Supplied with a liner so you can enjoy your feature right away, whilst an optional pump, filter and even lights can be included below to complete the kit.

Base Preparation for Koi Pools
Norlog koi ponds do not come with a base and are designed for the below-ground sump section of the included EPDM liner to be dug underground, with the top area of the liner inside of the wooden pool section. To ensure that the included liner does not grind or wear on anything sharp underground, we recommended layering a blanket of sand underneath the sump area of the liner.
Alternatively, you may use a piece of redundant carpet, rug or mat cut down to size to cushion the liner and act as a barrier between the bottom of the liner and the ground, thus ensuring maximum durability and life span of your pool.

Optional Fountain Water Pump Accessory
Please note, the "Fountain Water Pump" accessories come complete with a 10-metre cable and are designed to be connected to a weather-protected plug socket, either inside the home or within an outdoor socket box.
These pumps do not come with a 3-pin UK plug as standard so that they can be hardwired directly. Otherwise, a 3-pin plug will need to be attached.

Is this the largest pond that Intalogs make make? To run a pump and filter, how do the inlet and outlet hoses pass through the timber?
We Replied:Dear Dave Thank you for your question. This is the biggest Intalogs pool. Pipework for the pump and filter is fed over the top of the pool and is not able to go through the timber. What size pond net do we need for this raised pond?
We Replied:Dear Safira Thank you for your question. We would recommend a net size of at least 2.5m x 2.5m. We do sell netting but not specifically to fit this product, the smallest size net we have available is 3m x 4m. This may be suitable for your needs, you would just need to fix it to the outside of the log pool. As standard, the nets come with pegs which are normally for securing the net to the ground when used over a ground level pond. The pegs wouldn't be suitable for this pool, so you would need to secure the net to the outside logs in another way such as tieing it onto the log ends.
