Tim Hoad Asked:

Is the Blagdon Force-Hybrid 8000 a direct replacement for a Blagdon Amphibious P8000?

We Replied:

Dear Tim Thank you for your question. Although of similar litre per hour capacity, the Amphibious was a fountain/waterfall pump, whereas the Force-Hybrid is a solid handling pump. This means that the Force-Hybrid cannot be used for a decorative water fountain. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Michael Asked:

I have a Blagdon Force Hybrid pump 10000 in a pond application, with a Pond One 10000UV filter. Both units were installed in 2012, but the pump is now tripping out the electric feed and the filter UV bulb has corroded and has also failed The pond is 3.8m diam x 0.5m deep but does not contain fish. What do you recommend to re-establish the pond activity?

We Replied:

Dear Michael Thank you for your question. We would suggest staying with the 10000 mark for your filter, so ether of these two links would be suitable for you: https://www.gardensite.co.uk/aquatics/oase-biopress-10000-set.htm https://www.gardensite.co.uk/aquatics/hozelock-bioforce-revolution-9000-pressurised-pond-filter-and-pump-kit.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701.
