The air stone is an extremely important part of biOrb aquariums and how they work.
Over time your air stone can be blocked and this is especially true if you live in a hard water area.
Once blocked this reduces the flow of air in your biOrb which has a detrimental effect on filtration and water quality.
We advise you change your air stone every 6 months to keep the air flow running smoothly and at maximum capacity.
The replacement air stone will simply slot on your original.
