liz Asked:
Would this be suitable for a spitter fish and do you sell extension cable so that I can extend it into the house?
We Replied:
Dear Liz
Thank you for your question.
Dependent on the size of spitter and the flow you require this pump will be suitable. However, at a height of 1m, the flow provided is 284 LPH which will not give you the best flow. We would recommend this pump as an alternative:

Mike Asked:
What voltage is this pond pump? Is it suitable to be located in a dry situation? if so, am I right in thinking the inlet is 19mm and outlet is 12 mm.
We Replied:
Dear Mike
Thank you for your question.
This is 240v / standard mains voltage, we would not recommend it to be installed as a dry mounted pump and there is only one outlet that accepts 19mm-12mm sized pipe.

jim Asked:
As there is no hose connector, how do I connect a hose to this pump?
We Replied:
Dear Jim
Thank you for your question.
In the box there should be a small 'y' shaped piece with a hose connection, this then pushes onto the uplift tube. If you think this piece is missing please email a picture of all the pieces you have to [email protected] and we will be able to help further.

fiz Asked:
Can you connect this pump to a filter and a waterfall?
We Replied:
Dear Fiz
Thank you for your question.
In theory this will work to feed a filter that then runs a waterfall but as this is such a small pump the flow from the waterfall will be very small, possibly hindering the effect desired.

Paul Turner Asked:
Is the 650 Pond Pump suitable to connect to a Fish Mate pond filter?
We Replied:
Dear Paul
Thank you for your question.
We can't answer your query without knowing which filter you have but, due to the pump's flow rate and size, we would say not. If you email the filter information to us, we can best advise the correct pump. Our email address is [email protected].
