Description
Aquaria Silicone Sealant is perfect for assembling glass aquariums and fish tanks with or without metal frames.
With marvellous adhesion, once completely cured it is safe for fish and creates a flexible seal that's watertight.
It is also ideal for repairing cracks, mounting valves, applying fixtures inside or outside the tank/pond, and for sealing connections.
We advise that the area this will be used on is free from any dirt, dust or loose debris and completely dry before application.

I am making a fish tank lid out of perspex to house lighting. This will in turn rest on a glass ledge of the aquarium which will also have sliding glass covering it. I know this product bonds to glass but i wasn't sure about perspex. Can the sealant be used to make the perspex lid - will it be strong enough?
